Our signature ACRYLIC line starts with the inimitable double cutaway style. This style defines the essence of the electric guitar and has remained the standard for over 50 years. We have attempted to add a new twist to the classic by adding the element of an acrylic body. Why acrylic? The advantage of the acrylic body is that it has TWICE the density of the hardest hardwood and introduces sonic qualities that are not possible with a wood body. The acrylic accentuates the “glassiness” or “twang” that this style is famous for without introducing harsh or tinny overtones. The weight of the body (and this sucker is HEAVY! You have been warned!) also provides the bottom end boost that is sometimes lacking in lighter versions of this style. Combined with fine quality single coil pickups and a maple fingerboard, we think we have come up with a winning configuration. But you be the judge!

Our second acrylic model acknowledges the “original” electric guitar design which has remained popular to this day because of its unique sound and body style. This style has a legion of followers in all realms of music from Rock to Country to Jazz and we think all players who love this body style will love the added benefit of ACRYLIC. Like with our other single coil acrylic model, the HUGE density of this material makes this the “Twangiest” experience possible. Again, no problems with thinness of sound or screeching treble, due to the heavy (and we MEAN HEAVY!) heft of this guitar. Once again, the maple fingerboard brings out the brightness without going over the top, and the smooth frets make this model a joy to play.

And who doesn’t love the famous “Flying V” shape! We have just taken it one step more extreme with the addition of ACRYLIC! Why acrylic? The advantage of the acrylic body is that it has TWICE the density (and weight!) of the hardest hardwood and introduces sonic qualities that are not possible with a wood body. For our Humbucking pickup models, the advantage of acrylic is the ability to lose the bottom end “muddiness” that sometimes happens with these models. The density and natural brightness of the acrylic solves the high end problem, while the density and weight helps to maintain the “growl” that we all love! When we add the gold hardware, this model just jumps out to be noticed! And that’s the whole point, isn’t it?
